I traveled to New Orleans over the weekend to attend my brother’s wedding. It was beautiful and I had a wonderful time. However, I am so glad to be home! Nothing like being locked in a van with your family to make you enjoy peace and quiet.

Being away from my old friends that know me well is a learning experience.

I am trying to view myself as those that are just beginning to know me must view me. I think that I need to work on my facial expressions. I have figured out that I do not hide my feelings well.

That and being a teacher for so long has made me realize that it is hard to hide my, “Shut the heck up look.” I am sure many of you know it well

since I have posted! Summer flew by in a hurry….and I will have some big news tomorrow….either good big or not good big…..stay tuned!

I cannot believe it has been a month since I have posted. The weeks sure have flown by since school let out. I am trying to do some home improvments (which seems to be a never ending circle for homeowners) and connect with many old friends this summer. I need to get busy or the tme will be gone!

I hate the time change. I really, really, really, hate the change. Even though it is only an hour and I have never had a good sleep pattern, it knocks me for a loop. Either that or it is a good excuse to be in a bad mood.

I think it is going to be an early night for me. Last night was a REALLY late night and I am reaping the consequences today. I am also going to a conference this week and cannot wait. I need to rest up tonight so I can shop, shop, shop this week. And I think I am going to get to eat at Macaroni Grill!!! Woohoo!!
