Ten days!

What a l-o-n-g week this has been. Every day seemed like it was 3 days long. Since TCAP is over and the weather is warmer, the children are more hyper. The adults, however, seem to have less patience. Hyper kids plus less patience equals lots of grumpiness!

TCAP Party

It is that time of the year where principals start posting their staffing needs for the next school year. Which for me means it is that time of year that I need to decide if I will stay or if I will go. Funny, leaving home when I was 18 was never this hard of a decision to make. I packed my bags and went out to rule the world.

Now I keep analyzing each and every detail about my future. I need to be the risk taker and jump out there. Am I ready to take that gamble?

I’m Back.

I am glad that I am still amazed when grown people act like little kids.

If I ever get to the point when I think it is okay for them to act that way, one of you call me out on it.

That will mean that I have become one of them. And I never want people to think that I am that immature.

SNOW DAY!

I can’t believe it. I really, really cannot believe it!

Since we made master schedule changes over the holiday break, my classes have changed. I hope that it is more than the honeymoon stage but I LOVE my new kids!!!! They hit the ground running on the first day of class and are such a good group. I am sure there will be days soon when they get on my last nerve but so far, so good. Some of them are REALLY quiet right now but hopefully I will get to know them soon. I feel so blessed to have such a good group of kids to end my day.

I am SOOOO glad tomorrow is pay day.

I am so broke, I cannot even pay attention!
